Terms & Conditions – The Photobooth Co

We want your event to be as fun and stress-free as possible ✨. The details below explain how we work so everything runs smoothly. By paying your deposit, you confirm that you accept these terms.

1. Booking & Payments

  • A £50 deposit secures your date. This is normally non-refundable, but if something unexpected comes up, we’ll always do our best to move your booking to another date.
  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event.
  • If payment isn’t made in time, your booking may be cancelled.

2. Setup & General Access

  • We’ll arrive around 1 hour before your event to set up.
  • To ensure smooth setup, the venue must: 
    • Grant permission for us to set up.
    • Provide a clear space of at least 3m x 3m near a 13 amp power socket.
    • Allow safe and convenient parking for unloading.

3. Stairs & Access (Important 🚨)

  • Our booths and equipment are large and heavy, which makes stairs and awkward access points a real challenge.
  • Stairs can be managed, but only if we know about them in advance so we can plan extra time, staff, or equipment if needed.
  • If stairs (or other access restrictions like tight corridors or lack of parking) are not declared before the event, we may be unable to set up. In this case, no refund will be offered.
  • Please always check with your venue and let us know about any access issues when booking.

4. Internet (Digital Packages Only)

  • If you’ve booked a digital package, your venue will need a working Wi-Fi or internet connection.
  • If there are issues, the booth will still run, but some digital features may be limited.

5. Safety & Liability

  • We take great care with our setup and equipment, but we cannot take responsibility for accidents or damage caused by guests during your event.

6. Photos & Usage

  • All images remain the property of The Photobooth Co.
  • We may share some highlights on our social media or for promotional purposes — but if you’d prefer to keep your photos private, just let us know and we’ll respect your wishes.

7. Changes & Special Requests

  • Got an idea or special request? Let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
  • If your plans change, we’re flexible. Wherever possible, we’ll work with you to reschedule your booking.

8. Cancellations

  • If you cancel, payments are normally non-refundable.
  • That said, we know life happens. If you need to reschedule, we’ll always do our best to carry your booking over to a new date (subject to availability).
  • If we need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll issue a partial refund.
